Threading

This ancient method of hair removal originated in India and is simple, fast and effective. The treatment involves rolling a piece of twisted 100% cotton thread over areas of unwanted hair to gently remove it at follicle level. Threading leaves the skin smooth with the minimum of irritation to the skin. Threading is suitable for eyebrows, upper lip, neck and sides of the face.

Sterex Electrolysis

Electrolysis is still recognised as the ONLY method of PERMANENT hair removal. Electrolysis is a safe, effective and permanent method of removing unwanted hair.
We use the Sterex Blend method, the most recent and effective method of electrolysis. It is safe and said to be the quickest and most comfortable form of electrolysis.

For successful and effective results, each individual hair requires repeated treatments. This is because each individual hair has a growth cycle called Anagen, Catagen and Telogen. Anagen being the ‘alive’ and growing stage, Catagen the ‘collapsing’ stage and the Telogen stage where the hair is ‘tired’ and dying. Successful treatment for electrolysis has to target the hair in Anagen to achieve the best results.Therefore results are not immediate and take a little time… but electrolysis does work and it is permanent!
